We finally finished that show for Ansar Al-Sunna, I don't want to go into any details, it's too painful for me now, perhaps with time. . .

Now that we're back in the states, we're working on some new songs for a live album. The concept for the album is to capture the brillance of BBPH in the studio along with the passion and creativity of BBPH on stage. Since we're really not that great at writing, singing, playing or recording songs in the studio, and we get really nervous when there is an audience presen, we decided to record all the songs one part at a time in an empty stadium. Once the tracks are laid down, all we need is a little post production mixing, a nice audience track, David Hasselhof on lead vocals, and we are on our way to a platinum album.

Also, the BBPH Militia will be having its annual all you can eat catfish supper on December 20th this year, it's still at the Elks Lodge, but due to a wedding reception, we have to be out of the building by 9:30pm. See you all there. ~Billy Bob

The Iraqi leg of our current tour was a huge success. The Iraqis there were very receptive of our music. Almost every show sold out from Haditha to Nippur the fans were out and dancing. The greatest part about performing in Iraq were the fireworks shows that invariably broke out in the audience. They set off black cats in the stands, and they make some of the biggest bottle rockets I've ever seen in my life. The smoke and lights from the fireworks was great, we didn't even need our pyrotechnics crew, which worked out very well because they disappeared shortly after our arrival at Baghdad International Airport. We even brought "Chemical Ali" (He's a huge BBPH fan) up on stage for a moving rendition of "Send in the Clowns." All in all, it was a great experience not only for the guys in the band but for all the BBPH fans in Iraq.

We will be kicking of the next leg of our tour in the Soviet Union sometime in the near future. We're still in Iraq as guests of Ansar al-Sunna. His personal body guards are currently attending to us in preparation for a big show. We're a little hazy on the details but from what we understand it's going to be a huge blow out. It's either his 90th birthday, his 35th wedding anniversary, or a baby shower. Either way, we know it's going to be huge affair because we've heard the phrase "heads will roll" on several occaisions. Ansar al-Sunna is quite the perfectionist, and if things are just so, he lets his people know about it. That's okay with us, because BBPH has always stood, above all else, for professionalism. ~Billy Bob

I'm working on a conceptual piece that depicts not only the struggle of Confederate Soldiers in the Civil War, but the sheer joy of throwing cottage cheese at other people while screaming profanities. I haven't decided on a medium yet, as you all know, I'm a huge fan of interpretive dance, but this piece could be conveyed equally well through poetry, or even water colors. We'll just have to see which muse inspires me...

I think at I got Poison Ivy at our gig in Long Beach. Some groupies came back stage with somy "dynamite hash" their words not mine. I rolled a couple of doobies and we partied all night long. I woke up this morning with a terrible rash all over my fingers and lips. It itches like crazy, and the worst part is the hash was terrible, I barely got a buzz on. ~Billy Bob

I just woke up from a sex induced coma. I guess I've been out for about four months, but I want my fans to know I haven't been loafing. These past four months have been the most productive time of my life creatively speaking. As soon as I came to, I grabbed a pen and jotted down the lyrics I'd crafted in my mind. Here is a sample of a song I wrote that should be on our upcoming album, "Coma Chameleon."

I found a dark place, that I didn't want to go
The mash potatoes here wont' stay for the show
If I don't find my pants, I won't do so well
My head is under water, my hair is my hell
